I have been visiting Papua New Guinea since 2010. Firstly as a photojournalist, and then as a travel agent and tour operator. I organise unescorted and escorted diving, cultural, and trekking holidays around PNG under the banner Best of Papua New Guinea (www.bestofpng.com).  Some of the tours incorporate multi-night stays with the Asaro, and I also build day trips from Goroka into clients' itineraries for those who would prefer to sleep and eat in a modern, air-conditioned hotel with a pool and a full service bar.
